Break the Rules Day at Whoberley Hall....What a school!
Happy New Year - 2022!
The School Council have worked hard during the Autumn Term and managed to meet under socially distanced conditions! We focused on 3 key priorities to improve our school and Mia (in Year 2) illustrated these beautifully in her winning poster. We wanted to work towards a litter free environment; we wanted to encourage a meat-free menu for lunches and get involved in more planting!
We met with Paula from the office to make the necessary changes to the lunch menu which everyone welcomed and we have been conducting weekly 'litter-picks'. Everyone in the team has enjoyed litter picking and cannot wait to re-start this initiative in January.
We are very happy to welcome Leo (Year 4) to the School Council (replacing Eddie in his role).
We will keep you posted regarding our planting strategy for the new year - very exciting things are to come!
