During the term, the children will be learning about traditional stories, the characters and settings. We will be using drama to retell stories learnt and a range of materials to create crafts related to those stories.
The children will also be learning about cooking and ways of life from the stories of Goldilocks and The Three Bears and The Gingerbread Man.
As the garden begins to bloosom and the mini beasts begin to gather the children will be starting Muddy Mondays again; exploring and observing our natural world.

Spring Term 2019
Our topic this term is
During the term, the children will be learning about different habitats from around the world.
In January, Early Years began by
learning about the Polar Regions and the animals that live there. We discussed the houses that we might find in the North and South Poles and compared them to our own houses.
The children and parents help to build an igloo in the classroom using plastic milk bottles, which they used as a reading hideout. We have also began to learn a Polar bear dance and explore materials to support our learning in dance.
Finding hidden messages whilst exploring ways to melt the ice.
Our first Polar story is
'Lost and Found'.
Please check back on our webpage and our Class Dojo soon for information, updates and celebrations of our learning.
