School Council

Hello! We are the School Council for this school year. We aim to provide the children of Whoberley Hall an opportunity to voice their opinions in making Whoberley Hall an even better school!

There are representatives from Years 2-6 on our School Council.
They are voted for by their classmates.

We have lots of activities and events planned for this school year.

Fundraising
We have been extremely successful at FUND RAISING this year. With the help of the children, our parents and the teachers we have raised money through
- Red Nose Day
- Our Autumn and Spring School Fair

 Anti-Bullying Work

The SCHOOL COUNCIL had the opportunity to meet Olivia McFadden (who is in charge of the Council Youth Council). We had an exciting meeting where we were able to explain to Olivia all of the wonderful things that we do at Whoberley Hall!

Currently, we are working with several other schools in order to create a 'SHARED ANTI-BULLYING POLICY' which means that as a group of schools we are saying NO to bullying!

WHAT'S NEXT:
1) Keep an eye out for our PUPIL QUESTIONNAIRES - we want to find out what the children at Whoberley Hall think about their school.
We will let you know our findings when we get the results of the questionnaire!

2) School Council Elections - In June and July, all children from Year 1 to Year 5 will have the oppotunity to put themselves forward for the school council (2017-2018).  Year 5 children will also have the opportunity to apply for a role on the PRINCIPAL TEAM.
We will let you know the RESULTS once they have been announced!
